Titled
‘Aftermath’, Sidharta Aryan presented an androgynously edgy collection inspired
from ‘Geode’ inspired geometry. Clean lines merged with geometry of the digital
prints to create a structured, sporty, futuristic and wearable line ranging
from varsity jackets, asymmetrical skirts to shirts and even sari.
Details
like faux leather quilting, stone embellishments, cut-out necklines, trompe
l’oeil effects and sheer body blocking flattered the essence of this contemporary
collection. Smart futuristic tailoring aesthetically exaggerated the shoulders,
mid-riffs and hips thus accentuating and celebrating the beauty of feminine
form.
Impeccable marriage
of digital prints with nylon, sports mesh, silk, velvet, satin, Georgette and
chiffon in a color palette of grey, black and white with a sudden flash of
neon fabulously presented this talented designer’s realistic vision of capturing
the coexistence of order and symmetry with chaos and fear.
