Sneak Peek : ‘MAITAKE’ by P.E.L.L.A - Lakme Fashion Week S/R 2016

After garnering rave reviews last year for her debut Prêt collection at the Lakme Fashion Week Summer Resort 2015, Bangalore based designer Priyanka Ella Lorena Lama is all set to unveil her latest collection for the second time at the upcoming fashion week in Mumbai.  Her label "P.E.L.L.A", which is also an acronym of her name is recognised and appreciated for its Japanese ’wabi-sabi’ philosophy of life, a medium through which she celebrates the beauty of natural objects in its simple and imperfect state.

A graduate of Bangalore’s National Institute of Fashion Technology, Priyanka Ella Lorena Lama presented her debut collection Titled ‘Utopia’ at the Lakme Fashion Week today. With a Zen like enlightenment, the all white collection in silks and jacquards was all about celebrating simplicity in a complex world.
