It’s official!  This woman has taken over the Cannes 2017 red carpet. Aishwarya slayed the red carpet in a fierce red Ralph & Russo Spring 2017 Couture number during the premiere of “120 Beats Per Minute (120 Battements Par Minute)" at the 70th annual Cannes Film Festival at Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France.

Spectacular! Aishwarya Rai Bachchan wore a grand powder- blue Michael Cinco Couture gown during the premiere of  ‘Okja’  at the 70th annual Cannes Film Festival at Palais des Festivals.

Yes, we need drama on the Cannes red carpet, but I am not too sure about this. This is extreme, or is she trying too hard?  Aishwarya Rai wore a beautiful Rami Kadi gown at the premiere of “From the Land of the Moon” at the 69th Annual Cannes Film Festival. But, it was not the off shoulder gown, but her Lavender painted lips that took away the attention from what she was wearing. To me she looked quite hypothermic and sorry people she must be the one of the most beautiful women in the world, but that shade of Lavender lips didn’t complement her beauty or her personality.

For her second outing today on the red carpet, at the premiere of “The BFG (LeBon Gros Geant Le BGG)” ,Aishwarya Rai wore an embellished Elie Saab Fall 2014 gown. The intricate details of the pearl strewn organza gown oozed the required red carpet luxury. She completed the look with her dark lips, signature side curls and a gorgeous neckpiece - Ash looked glamorous. But, did she offer anything new?  Or, am I the only one having a major déjà vu moment?

As a brand ambassador of L’oreal, Aishwarya Rai attended the media interview at the ongoing Cannes Film Festival 2016 in a red Naeem Khan Resort 2016 gown. The ruffled skirt and the fringe details of the top added an element of elegant drama. Her red lips and signature curls complemented the beauty of the tulle gown. Do you like?

Aishwarya shimmers in Ali Younes, but is this the best? : Cannes 2016

So here we go people, one of the most anticipated moments. For her first appearance this year, Aishwarya shimmered in Ali Younes beaded couture gown while attending the premiere of ‘Ma Loute’ at the ongoing 69th Cannes Film Festival. There is no denying that with her intricately beaded gown, especially the flowing cape she looked opulent, however the question is – Is this the best? No, it didn’t impress me much; in spite of all the regal drama there was something rather dull about her overall look. And, as you can see the gown didn’t do much for her figure either.

Look 1: While attending the photo calls at the luxury concept store Le Mill, Aishwarya wore a sleek white Stella McCartney ensemble. The boxy high neck top and the slim fitted pants looked fabulous on her. Her bold red lip added a dash of colour to the monochrome look.

Look 2: The 70s Glam! Aishwarya Rai Bachchan rocked a white Stella McCartney shirt and printed flared pants while attending a press interview at the ongoing Cannes Film Festival 2015. With her red lip, and side swept hair she looked chic.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan wore an embellished emerald Elie Saab Spring 2015 gown at the premiere of “Carol” during the 68th Annual Cannes Film Festival.She looked gorgeous, beautiful, and nice, but not ‘WOW’.I missed the last year’s murderously gorgeous look in this number. The sleeveless gown in no ways could create the magic of her last year’s spectacular Roberto Cavalli outfit. Sad enough to say, i am not at all digging on her look this time.

From the time i started blogging, this is one activity that i always look forward to,creating the best dressed list of the year. A time when we look back on every best dressed moment on the red carpet, stars who managed to capture our hearts with their incredible individual style. It was not easy creating the list this year. 2014 was indeed a big year in red carpet style, an overload of some of the finest moments in fashion. And that is why the list of 2014 is three times bigger than it was last year. Thanks to the likes of fashion’s new sweethearts from Lupita Nyong’o to Amal Alamuddin (Mrs. Clooney) and the established ones like Blake Lively to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's grand entry at the Cannes 2014, the red carpet was flooded with incredibly impressive style moments.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in Armani Privé : amfAR’s 21st Cinema Against AIDS Gala: Cannes 2014 : Red Carpet

For the annual amfAR’s 21^st Cinema Against AIDS Gala, hostess of the event, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan wore a gorgeous Armani Privé gown at the 67^th Annual Cannes Film Festival. The crystal beaded gown with a sheer yoke and layered cut looked delicately elegant and exquisitely uber-feminine. I love the freshness of the look, something very subtle and stunning.

She completed the look with Choprad Jewels and red lips that complemented the colour of the gown. But, her green eye shadow is a minor distraction in this otherwise perfect look. Do we ignore that? What say folks?

Day 8: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in Roberto Cavalli : Cannes 2014: Red Carpet

For her second sighting, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan again wore a Roberto Cavalli gown at the premiere of ‘The Search’ at the 67^th Cannes Film Festival. Though the embellished white gown is less grand compared to yesterday’s gold one, but with a similar silhouette (fish tail), she still looks supremely elegant and graceful. No doubts, she owns the Cannes Red Carpet. Today’s look has an element of understated elegance to it, and she looked glamorous. Boy, I just love her Red Carpet confidence and body language. And yes, she is back, her curves are back.
