Day 8: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in Roberto Cavalli : Cannes 2014: Red Carpet

For her second sighting, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan again wore a Roberto Cavalli gown at the premiere of ‘The Search’ at the 67^th Cannes Film Festival. Though the embellished white gown is less grand compared to yesterday’s gold one, but with a similar silhouette (fish tail), she still looks supremely elegant and graceful. No doubts, she owns the Cannes Red Carpet. Today’s look has an element of understated elegance to it, and she looked glamorous. Boy, I just love her Red Carpet confidence and body language. And yes, she is back, her curves are back.

And, there she is. Dazzling!!! Ultra Glam!!! Aishwarya Rai Bachchan wore a stunning shoulder less Robert Cavalli gown at the Premiere of ‘Two Days, One Night’ at the 67^th Annual Cannes Film Festival. She looked every bit of a diva in this gold-embellished, fish tail gown. Hair and makeup, all perfect. Her red lip exuded elegant sensuality and perfectly complemented the glamorous essence of the gown. I simply love the fact how effortlessly she is working it, combined with her prefect poise and seductive elegance. The diva was in her sultry best in this beautiful number. And yes, this one of her best looks in a long while. What say folks?

Day 2: Julianne Moore in Louis Vuitton, Blake Lively in Chanel,Liya Kebede in Roberto Cavalli,Zoe Saldana in Jason Wu:Cannes 2014:Red Carpet

Now this is one edgy look on the red carpet. Julianne Moore wore a custom Louis Vuitton gown at the premier of ‘Mr Turner’ at the 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival. Though she carried the look to a certain extent, however, I am still not buying it. The red carpet glam quotient is completely missing. What do you have to say folks?

Day 1 :Gong Li in a Roberto Cavalli Spring 2014 gown:Cannes 2014:Red Carpet

Gong Li wore a sheer Roberto Cavalli Spring 2014 gown at the premiere of ‘Grace of Monaco’ at the 67th Cannes Film Festival. The gown with detailed design and leather trim looked gorgeous on the actress. Though personally I am not a big fan of sheer, however, I feel Gong Li did justice to the gown. On a different note, the colour of the gown does not give a spring vibe.

New Mom, Jenna Dewan-Tatum rocks the Golden Globe Red Carpet in a Roberto Cavalli Gown

This look is another favorite of mine from this year’s Golden Globe Awards (2014) Red Carpet. The new mom and actress of ‘Witches of East End’, Jenna Dewan- Tatum wore a gorgeous Roberto Cavalli mermaid gown. Jenna rocked the red carpet in this lace illusion creating gown which flaunted her perfect post-baby curves.

The collection was nothing less than an ode to vibrant India in a very Cavalli style. The bright and color rich collection for Roberto Cavalli’s Just Cavalli Resort 2013 was inspired by his recent visit to India. The designer beautifully infused the religious structures of Hindu temples in pale colours through prints and in psychedelic patterns. Colour blocking was reinterpreted in the form of print blocking in this collection. The tropical exotic floral and animal prints & patterns of the collection were translated into a signature Cavalli style.
