The ethereal collection featured a range of beaded short dresses,
embroidered jackets, skirts and dreamy lace gowns in a colour palette of blush,
grey, red and gorgeous maroon. Keeping it excess, the designer played with her
signature design aesthetics. Intricate embroidery and jewelled surfaces of
crystals and beads, including lace, velvet, tulle and feathers had a strong

Altuzarra FW 2015: "Hard Edged Elegance": But, with a deep sense of Déjà Vu : New York Fashion Week
The Fall Winter
2015 Altuzarra woman is strong yet feminine, contemporary yet old school. Keeping it sexy, the
designer presented an array of pieces ranging from thigh high slits worn with
knee high boots and high-neck Edwardian lace dresses to tailored coats with
Prince of Wales checks. The interplay of textures in the form of leather
skirts, Fox fur collars, and shearlings had an element of hard-edged elegance
to it. With ruffled trim on the pockets and lightweight shimmery beaded evening
dresses, the collection is playfully relaxed yet seductive.

at the NYFW15. For the show the musician played a soundtrack saying, “I’m here
to crack the pavement and make new ground. There is a lack of creativity in
every field, people are afraid to create”. Hmmmmm....... The question is, did
he really manage to crack the pavement? Was he able to create something exceptionally
new? Was it an awesome collection?
