Manish Malhotra’s offering at the
PCJ Delhi Couture Week 2013 was inspired by the opulence and affluence of 1930s
India, an era celebrating the influence of cross cultural ties in the field of
fashion, art and architecture. The designer
artistically fused Indian craftsmanship and embroidery with Victorian cuts and
silhouette in a colour palette of midnight blue, red, bright orange, beige, burgundy
and mustard.
