Fendi Fall Winter 2015:Milan Menswear Fashion Week



A perfect blend of masculinity and elegance, the luxurious collection by Silvia Venturini for Fendi Fall 2015 menswear was stylishly classic yet ultra- modern. Everything was beautiful and super classy. The innovation was visible in the form of fabric manipulation. It was interesting to see Silvia’s expertise in playing around with fabric and materials – for example the way she used leather to create an impression of classic corduroy.Some of the fur and leather pieces were reversible – thus creating an idea of a completely different garment.

Vivienne Westwood’s Fall 2015 :Milan Menswear Fashion Week



Narrowing the gender gap between men and women, Vivienne Westwood’s Fall 2015 Menswear collection made a bold yet light-hearted statement on the future of men’s fashion. The unisex collection offered various pieces ranging from tailored pieces to knitwears and separates. The soft knitwears with plunging neckline brought in an element of feminine ease to the collection so did the floral jacquard details on the suits.

Dolce & Gabbana Fall Winter 2016 - Viva la familiga -Milan Menswear Fashion Week



No matter how, no matter when, no matter with who, no matter where, family is what matters the most in everyone's life. Yes, that was the mantra of Dolce & Gabbana’s Fall Winter 2016 collection. The collection was inspired by the beauty and magic of family in our life. To bring the essence of a family on the runway, the designer duo created a tableau of a beautiful Italian family, which served as a backdrop of the show, featuring grandma to granddaughter, along with aunts and uncles and a toddler all in their sartorial best. The brand also created a hash-tag #DGFAMILY for its social media.

London Menswear Collection: Sibling Fall 2015



Pink and Punk, the Sibling Fall 2015 collection was a celebration of joy and rebellious energy of wonderful childhood days. The all pink school -boyish collection offered a variety of knitwear, including sweaters resembling cobwebs, vinyl coats embellished with the dramatic eruption of goat hair, oversized scarves, striped blazers, pink shorts and crumpled paper-bag tailored pieces.

London Menswear Fashion Week: Agi and Sam Fall 2015 collection



At the tender age of 4, Agi drew a range of clothing collection titled “The Coolman Collection”. And he discovered these drawings while visiting his home in Yorkshire, resulting in sparking inspiration for Agi and Sam’s Fall 2015 collection. The collection challenged the inhibitions and the restrictions of an adult life. To rekindle the essence of childhood days, the designer duos got original by involving primary school students to sketch out the pieces for their collection. Their idea was to understand how children see clothes, and how they can change adult’s perceptions which are always blinded by too many complicated thought processes.

Christopher Shannon’s sports+street wear inspired Fall 2015 collection was a humorous and at time sarcastic take on the growing culture of consumerism against the current unstable state of the global economy. Plastic bags is the main protagonist of this performance wear collection, communicating the message of modern day’s impossible to satisfy hunger for consumption.
