Dolce & Gabbana Fall Winter 2016 - Viva la familiga -Milan Menswear Fashion Week
No matter how, no matter when, no matter with who, no
matter where, family is what matters the most in everyone's life. Yes, that was
the mantra of Dolce & Gabbana’s Fall Winter 2016 collection. The collection was inspired by the beauty and magic of family in
our life. To bring the essence of a family on the runway, the designer duo
created a tableau of a beautiful Italian family, which served as a backdrop of
the show, featuring grandma to granddaughter, along with aunts and uncles and a
toddler all in their sartorial best. The brand also created a hash-tag
#DGFAMILY for its social media.

Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2013 - Dedicated to devotion
Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2013 was all about connecting to
the Sicilian roots and celebrating religion and faith. Once more for this
season, the designer duo Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana chose ordinary
Sicilians as their models. The designers said that the collection was dedicated
to devotion. The collection with images of repeated haloed Madonnas, crucifixion
of Jesus and scarves edged in gold fringe had a strong religious tone to it and
was indeed a sartorial devotion to faith, belief and roots.

Milan Men's Fashion Week - Dolce & Gabbana Spring Summer 2013
A wonderfully refreshing concept by Dolce & Gabbana to use
non-professional models - students, waiter, lifeguard, fisherman, barber, house
painter and unemployed , ranging from 11 to 43 years of age, who came all
the way from Sicily to walk the ramp for their Spring/Summer 2013
show in Milan. A Sicilian live band in traditional costume, complete with
mandolins and tambourines played the folk music which brought Sicily to the
runway of Milan.
