Etro Fall 2013 - Philosophy of flow

The theme of the collection was based
on pre-Socratic Greek philosopher Heraclitus’ two word philosophy "panta
rei" - literally everything flows, meaning that everything is constantly
changing. True to its theme, the
collection was indeed a cosmic flow, a journey to far lands for inspiration.
The collection with an undercurrent of Himalayan (read Mongolian), Japanese and
North European inspiration was meant for someone who is a world citizen with a
bohemian edge.

Milan Men's Fashion Week - Etro Spring/Summer 2013 (Indian Summer)
For Etro’s Spring/Summer 2013, Kean Etro took his inspiration from Indian men’s traditional wardrobe. As i mentioned earlier in few of my posts, India and its rich heritage of arts & crafts, prints, textile, vibrant colours & fabric story is definitely becoming an immense source of inspiration for some of the well known global design houses.
