Manish Arora A/W'13 at WIFW - Arorified

Returning after a gap of four years, Manish Arora brought the curtains down at the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week Autumn/ winter 2013. Inspired from US’s Burning Man Festival in Nevada, the offering was a striking amalgamation of futuristic designs and signature Manish Arora artistry.

The ace designer narrated his story through geometric and abstract prints, bold landscape prints, digital prints, sequins, neon, fur coats, trench, biddy shimmery surface, peplum, bold embroidery details, leather turbans, knitwear, jewel like embellishment, and metal chain that were draped over dresses. Leaving his signature colourful stamp, the collection with vibrant colour palette fabulously played with the prints that recreated the beautiful and mesmerising landscape of the day and evening cloud.

Another high point of the show was the live performance by the international band, Hilite Tribe from Paris that Arorified everyone - including the models (READ: the gig by the models at the end of the show) - to a state of hypnotic trance, a psychedelic experience that was high on Arora’s hyperactive fashion quotient and vision.
