Versace Fall 2013 - "V" + P"UNK" = "VUNK"

“VUNK”, yes this is the name Donatella chose for her Fall 2013 offering, which was nothing but a fusion of p(unk) and” V” of Versace. Dresses held together with steel nails instantly took us back to the house’s iconic safety pin dress which was worn by Liz Hurley to the premiere of 'Four Weddings and a Funeral' in 1994.
The fearless colour palettes of glossy black, white, yellow and red was sizzling. Vinyl garments, zebra stripe fur, blade chains, spikey nail and bolt earrings added an element of extreme fetish and wilderness to the collection.
The collection was a nostalgic reference to the punk era, especially at a time when the fashion circle is looking forward to  New York's Metropolitan Museum’s upcoming spring exhibition in the month of May’13 Themed, “Punk: Chaos to Couture,” .
