Fringe, floral and signature silhouette at the Manish Malhotra’s Blue Runway Show: Lakme Fashion Week S/R2015

Carrying the message of gender equality and gender based violence, in association with Wewolve campaign; Manish Malhotra’s “The Blue Runway” show at the Lakme Fashion Week S/R2015 was very much in sync with his distinctive style and design philosophy.

With a colour story of blues, lavender, purple, ivory and summer blush tones, including colour blocked pieces; the collection had a generous dose of fringe, floral, sheer and intricate embroidery. Without much of a change in the silhouette, reminiscent of his previous collections, the key pieces were the designer’s signature lehengas, suits, sarees, tunics, jackets and sequined tops and blouses.
