Vidya Balan at Cannes 2013 Red Carpet

Talented Indian actress and jury member Vidya Balan attended the ceremonial cocktail party in a simple yet regal maroon anarkali lehenga and round neck waist length blouse designed by designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee at the Martinez Hotel at the 66th international film festival, in Cannes, southern France, on May 14, 2013.

The beautiful black dupatta featuring ethnic Indian embroidered motif in gold and maroon accentuates the overall look.It was definitely refreshing to see Vidya ditching her trademark saree while the magician in Sabyasachi ensured that his creation compliments her silhouette. She accessorized the look by wearing jhumkas from Amrapali Jewels and carrying a small red and black embroidered potli.For me Vidya definitely rocked the look with her personal poise, confidence and elegance minus any sartorial risk.
