2012 was an eventful year in the world of fashion. After culling through various events, (Oscars,Golden Globe, Cannes, CFDA,Fashion Weeks and more) Stylefluid Trendz presents list of selected few people who stood out with their sartorial choices or decisions and the events that stayed back in our memory because of the way it was presented. The year saw some significant changes, moments or decisions being taken (Raf Simons taking over Dior, Hedi Slimane replaced Stefano Pilati at Yves Saint Laurent and Alexander Wang took over for Nicolas Ghesquière at Balenciaga) in the world of fashion which changed the very history of the iconic fashion houses thus bringing in a fresh perspective to the unpredictable and dynamic fashion industry. The year also raised questions (Dolce and Gabbana Blackamoor figures earrings) on sensitivity of the fashion industry while exploring its creative freedom and imagination.
Trust me it was one Herculean task. Hope you enjoy it as much i enjoyed working on this post. Join me in looking back at the year that was – 2012. Have a wonderful and ultra chic new year.
