Vogue Magazine, known as Fashion’s Bible is celebrating its
past. For its 120th Anniversary, last year the Fashion Magazine with
the contribution of Vogue contributor Dodie Kazanijian and international editor
Hamish Bowles launched a book – Vogue: The Covers, compiling the magazine’s famous
covers through the years. The book begins with the illustrated covers from the
magazine’s debut in December 1892 till date, capturing the evolution of
fashion, art, photography, culture and even sports. It is very interesting to
see how editors used to hire illustrators in the early days to show a new trend
or silhouette, which can be either be in art deco, painting, graphics or a
sketch.

It was just as recent at the
Geneva Auto Fair in March’12, I was lucky to see Mr. Stephan
Winkelmann, President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini unveiling the outrageous speedster Lamborghini
Aventador J, which was designed from concept to the speedster in
approx. 45-50 days. All were astonished to see the roofless Italian bull as the silk satin cover was
lifted. And back home,
Bombay was honored on 26th of April’2012 to see Mr. Stephan Winkelmann launch the Lamborghini showroom.

- by GB Bajaj, CEO & Strategist at GB LUXE LIFE for Stylefluid Trendz
7:46am – Just
after the heavy showers have passed by, I am driving down Hanging Gardens, lush
greenery on both the sides, the smell of rain, negotiating the s curve and the
dip, blasting to Paul Van Dyk music, the early morning health freaks cursing
me, open sunroof, strong breeze blowing into the car with the sound of the engine, wow
what a feeling, the Cooper S is just a bloody awesome sports car. Off to Café
Zoe for breakfast. It’s a thrilling experience to drive
the Cooper S.
