Gucci S/S 2016 campaign captures the aesthetics of German 80s Pop Culture

After travelling to Los Angeles for its Fall Winter 2015/16 ad campaign, this time the Italian house travels to Berlin to capture the aesthetics and visual language of German 80s pop culture.

The dreamy and hedonistically surreal campaign stars a peacock too. Set across various locations – including a night club toilet, rooftop and the underground, the ad features Alessandro Michele’s signature lace shirts with bird motifs, pussy-bow blouse, shorts, pleated skirts, embellished bomber, metallic shirt and a forest green shimmery suit.
