Earlier this week
(Sunday, September 16), Lady Gaga attended millinery Philip Treacy’s Spring
Summer 2013 show in London Fashion Week, and as always she kept it rolling by
wearing four outfits during the show. This was Treacy’s first runway show in 13
years. To open the show, Gaga took to the stage donning a hot-pink, floor
length shroud, neon veil and a sky high McQueen heel and declared “Welcome
to the show of the greatest milliner in the world, Philip Treacy. In the clothes of the late Michael Jackson”.
The show was a
tribute to Michael Jackson with models walking the runway wearing some of
Michael Jackson’s iconic outfits (included the iconic jacket that he wore in
the video for Thriller) on loan from late singer’s costume designer. Gaga has
worn Treacy’s headpieces earlier on multiple occasions including the famous
telephone hat. Post introduction, the singer sat in the front row, next to
Treacy wearing a floral helmet and a McQueen velvet strapless creation. Outside
the Treacy’s show the singer donned a cape covered in tails. After the show,
Gaga wore giant Mickey Mouse inspired ears that were presented on the runway
during Treacy’s show.
