Rachel Roy’s bold and
colourful Resort 2013 collection was inspired by the vibrant art work of
Jewish-French Artist, Sonia Delaunay who was mainly known for her bold colours
and geometric shapes.
Color blocking was
one of the main elements of the 60’s inspired clean collection with relaxed
silhouette .Colours like yellow, magenta, blue & amethyst completed the
story of the collection. Quoting Sonia Delaunay, Rachel twitted – ‘Color
is the skin of the world’. Indeed a perfect way to explain the essence of
this chic collection :-)
