No matter how, no matter when, no matter with who, no
matter where, family is what matters the most in everyone's life. Yes, that was
the mantra of Dolce & Gabbana’s Fall Winter 2016 collection. The collection was inspired by the beauty and magic of family in
our life. To bring the essence of a family on the runway, the designer duo
created a tableau of a beautiful Italian family, which served as a backdrop of
the show, featuring grandma to granddaughter, along with aunts and uncles and a
toddler all in their sartorial best. The brand also created a hash-tag
#DGFAMILY for its social media.

‘The Dutch House Of Extravaganza’ by Philippe Vogelenzang for Candy
Titled ‘The
Dutch House Of Extravaganza’, Candy magazine features various creations of
Chinese – Dutch designer Carla Maria Fong Leng Tsang for the editorial of their
latest issue. Channelling an androgynous vibe, the images are aesthetically shot
by photographer Philippe Vogelenzang. Each piece featured in the editorial is a
work of artistic extravagance and highlights Fong Leng’s signature techniques like
quilting, smocking, pleating and incrustation created on silk, suede and even
denim.
Milan Menswear Fashion Week: Dsquared² Fall 2015
Whatever the reason,
brothers Dean and Dan Caten love their jeans; hence it is no surprise to see a collection
that was high on denim. Jeans of all kinds, including a dirty one were paired
with leather and fur jackets, sleeveless numbers, parkas, and embroidered and
plaid shirt. In sharp contrast to all the denims in the collection, the
duo also presented few smart Italian tailored tuxes, adorned with traditional embroidery.
Going by the very philosophy of the brand, the collection was a
mix of irreverent Canadian wit and refined Italian tailoring and aesthetics.
