It was not easy creating the list this year. 2014 was indeed a big year in red carpet style, an overload of some of the finest moments in fashion. And that is why the list of 2014 is three times bigger than it was last year. Sarees are no more about those heavy zari work, sequins, overdose of bling, never ending drapes and large borders. With the change in time, the idea of a Sarees too has changed. 2014 was a fabulous year for Saree styles, and some of the looks, because of its modern yet traditional draping style, were definitely ground-breaking in its own way- a year when simplicity married elegance.
