Milan Men's Fashion Week - Gucci Spring/Summer 2013 (Mediterranean Summer)

Keeping the spirit of Mediterranean spring alive, Giannini presented a collection of sleek jackets, monochromatic suits, tapered pants, knit wears and foulard shirts in a blazing and energetic color palette of apple green, crimson red, cobalt, lemon, electric & sky blue, burnt orange & turquoise to name a few. Other key pieces were double breasted jacket, which were fitted around the waist that added lot more structure to this smart and youthful line up, black tux for the evening and net stitched polo bringing in a feeling of lightness to the collection. Raffia and cotton with washed effect perfectly complements this cheerful and cruise ready collection.

Not to be ignored- the Gucci’s iconic loafer , celebrating their 60th anniversary next year, were seen in shades of mustard, olive, light blue, rusty orange, black and white – perfectly accessorizing the bright collection.

Giannini wanted the Gucci man "to rediscover his chic Mediterranean side.” After looking at the collection in totality, i have to mention that this process of rediscovery as intended by Giannini is definitely going to be a stylishly refreshing experience.
