On Friday, the Metropolitan Museum of Art revealed the new subject for its 2017 Costume Institute exhibition and gala: “Rei Kawakubo/Comme des Garçons.” As an exception, this is the first time the Gala has chosen to focus on a living designer since Yves Saint Laurent in 1983. |
