Dolce & Gabbana Fall Winter 2016 - Viva la familiga -Milan Menswear Fashion Week

No matter how, no matter when, no matter with who, no matter where, family is what matters the most in everyone's life. Yes, that was the mantra of Dolce & Gabbana’s Fall Winter 2016 collection. The collection was inspired by the beauty and magic of family in our life. To bring the essence of a family on the runway, the designer duo created a tableau of a beautiful Italian family, which served as a backdrop of the show, featuring grandma to granddaughter, along with aunts and uncles and a toddler all in their sartorial best. The brand also created a hash-tag #DGFAMILY for its social media.

Milan Menswear Fashion Week: Dsquared² Fall 2015

Whatever the reason, brothers Dean and Dan Caten love their jeans; hence it is no surprise to see a collection that was high on denim. Jeans of all kinds, including a dirty one were paired with leather and fur jackets, sleeveless numbers, parkas, and embroidered and plaid shirt. In sharp contrast to all the denims in the collection, the duo also presented few smart Italian tailored tuxes, adorned with traditional embroidery. Going by the very philosophy of the brand, the collection was a mix of irreverent Canadian wit and refined Italian tailoring and aesthetics.

London Menswear Fashion Week: Agi and Sam Fall 2015 collection

At the tender age of 4, Agi drew a range of clothing collection titled “The Coolman Collection”. And he discovered these drawings while visiting his home in Yorkshire, resulting in sparking inspiration for Agi and Sam’s Fall 2015 collection. The collection challenged the inhibitions and the restrictions of an adult life. To rekindle the essence of childhood days, the designer duos got original by involving primary school students to sketch out the pieces for their collection. Their idea was to understand how children see clothes, and how they can change adult’s perceptions which are always blinded by too many complicated thought processes.
