Rajesh Pratap Singh is truly the man of the moment. First of all he is the first ever Indian designer to be roped in by Woolmark, world’s leading wool textile organization to promote the merino wool in India (READ: the stakes were really high) and next his Autumn Winter’13 collection at the WIFW lived up to all expectations and beyond. The offering without any unwanted extras clearly focussed on creating pieces that perfectly fits into the concept of an ideal and pleasantly chilling Autumn Winter collection.

Tarun Tahiliani A/W'13 at Wills India Fashion Week

Tarun Tahiliani’s offering for Autumn/Winter’13 was inspired from Mahakumbh and was truly a celebration of a country called India and its mystical layers. For his inspiration, Tahiliani, the genius traveled to Kumbh in Allahabad to document the drapes of the sadhus and his journey combined with expertise and vision resulted in creation of  a collection that boasted of fabulously structured contemporary drapes. The collection was indeed a story of the drapes.

Masaba for Satya Paul A/W'13 at Wills India Fashion Week

For  Satya Paul Autumn Winter 13, Masaba Gupta, the new creative director of Satya Paul injected a fresh perspective to the brand's overall image by bringing in her unique design sensibilities and vision. The collection featuring contemporary cuts, silhouette and fun prints, represents the young, energetic and a new age Satya Paul girl (SP Girl as she says) who is fun and quirky. "We are trying to reposition the brand and so now we are aiming for the young girls instead of women above the age of 30,” said Masaba.

Yo Dona features Vanessa Hegemaier for Paris, je t'aime story

Now this is one editorial story that is my personal favorite for sure.

German fashion model Vanessa Hegelmaier stars in Spanish Yo Dona magazine's stylish Paris, je t’aime story featuring the trends for Spring-Summer 2013. Elegantly captured by photographer Benjamin Kanarek, the story features lace embroidered ultra feminine ensemble from Valentino and total white (BLANCO total)  from  Paco Rabanne, BOHO masculine look with sequined jacket and pants from Saint Laurent by Hedi Slimane, sporty chic with Stella McCartney and takes a trip to east (VIAJE A Oriente) with Hermès Mosaic Prints.
