Gorgeous!!! Uma Thurman looked divine and statuesque in this canary yellow Atelier Versace Gown at the premiere of ‘Clouds Of Sils Maria’ during the 76^th Cannes Film Festival. The cross over bodice and the graceful flowing train of the gown looked incredible on her. Uma looked every bit of a classic Hollywood beauty. And yes, after all the blacks and the whites, the Cannes2014 Red Carpet looks refreshing in this beautiful summery colour.

Day 10 : Araya A. Hargate in Zac Posen :Cannes 2014 :Red Carpet

Araya A. Hargate followed the princess route in this strapless Zac Posen gown at the premiere of ‘Clouds Of Sils Maria’ during the 76^th Cannes Film Festival. But, in spite of all the voluminous drama of the gown and the train, she is still not selling it to me. May be the wrinkles!!! Or is it my OCD? ;) Do you like?

Dramatic!!! This is what you call individual style. When it comes to carrying these kinds of pieces, one can completely rely on Li Yuchun.I adore her confidence, the way she carried the look. The Chinese singer and actress attended the premiere of ‘Clouds Of Sils Maria’ in this one of kind Stéphane Rolland Spring 2014 Couture piece during the 76^th Cannes Film Festival.

I love the interesting subtle cut-outs details of the gown combined with the colour that makes her look vibrant and super gorgeous. This is so effortless. Love!!!

I wonder what’s with super model Karlie Kloss? Why is this young girl opting for pieces that does not flatter her or her age and makes her look aged? Ms. Kloss wore a navy Chanel Fall 2011 Couture dress at the annual amfAR Cinema Against AIDS gala during the 67th Cannes Film Festival in France.The colour does not complement her skin tone, neither the 20’s inspired design of the dress. And the flats!!! Do I have to say anything more?  May be she is a super model. but not super when it comes to her sartorial choice. She needs help.

Izabel Goulart wore a dreamy Emilio Pucci gown at the annual amfAR Cinema Against AIDS gala during the 67^th Cannes Film Festival in France. I love the drama of this soft pink strapless gown with a beaded fitted bodice and feathers around the waist. Izabel looked beautiful.

Ridiculous!!! Lara Stone wore a two piece black Gianni Versace number at the annual amfAR Cinema Against AIDS gala during the 67th Cannes Film Festival in France. The piece with intricate gold embroidery looked explicitly costumey, not apt for an event like amfAR gala. I get a strong belly dancer, the gypsy vibe from this look. What was she thinking? 

Day 9 : Tony Garnn in Redemption Choppers:amfAR’s 21st Cinema Against AIDS Gala: Cannes 2014 : Red Carpet

Isn’t she looking elegant? I wonder how someone can look so gorgeous in a lingerie inspired skirt and top? Tony Garnn wore a fluid top and skirt from a label called Redemption Choppers at the annual amfAR Cinema Against AIDS gala during the 67^th Cannes Film Festival in France.I love the fluidity of the look
combined with her poise and elegance. And, yes, her bright red lip colour accentuated her overall look. Perfection!!!

Day 9 : Dita Von Teese in Blumarine: amfAR’s 21st Cinema Against AIDS Gala: Cannes 2014 : Red Carpet

Burlesque Dita Von Teese went floral in a black Blumarine gown at the annual amfAR Cinema Against AIDS gala during the 67^th Cannes Film Festival in France. The sheer bold rose-print gown worn over a corset has an evident Boudoir feel. She completed the look with her signature hair- style and lip colour. I would say, only Dita could carry a piece like this on the red carpet. Seductively beautiful!!!

Day 9 :Jane Fonda in Atelier Vesace: amfAR’s 21st Cinema Against AIDS Gala: Cannes 2014 : Red Carpet

Grand dame Jane Fonda, wore a soft pink Atelier Vesace gown at the annual amfAR Cinema Against AIDS gala during the 67^th Cannes Film Festival in France. The gown featured a crystal beaded corset translating down the skirt, complementing 75 year ‘young’ Ms. Fonda’s super gorgeous figure. Personally, I don’t like the gown, but it is the lady wearing the gown who makes it look stunning with her grace and confident body language. What do you say folks?

Day 9 : Paz Vega in Fitriani Couture : amfAR’s 21st Cinema Against AIDS Gala: Cannes 2014 : Red Carpet

This is stunning. Paz Vega wore a gorgeous Fitriani Couture gown at the annual amfAR Cinema Against AIDS gala during the 67th Cannes Film Festival in France. The interesting sculpted hips of the gown combined with the train create An elegant red carpet drama. The gold waist belt adds an interesting element to her overall look.

Day 9 : Natasha Poly in Marni gown : amfAR’s 21st Cinema Against AIDS Gala: Cannes 2014 : Red Carpet

Natasha Poly wore an emerald-green Marni gown at the annual amfAR Cinema Against AIDS gala during the 67^th Cannes Film Festival in France. The strapless gown with an empire height peplum looked good on her.  Not many could carry this gown because of its unique peplum construction. Natasha did justice to the gown. Her dark kohl eye added an element of drama to her overall look.

Riley Keough shows us what not to wear, especially when it comes to attending gala events hosted by the likes of amfAR. Ms. Keough wore a Louis Vutton number at the annual amfAR Cinema Against AIDS gala during the 67^th Cannes Film Festival in France. No matter how beautiful it is, the top and the knee length flared skirt combined with the boots is just not meant for an event like amfAR gala.

Former French First lady & model Carla Bruni-Sarkozy wore a Maxime Simoëns Resort 2014 at the annual amfAR Cinema Against AIDS gala during the 67th Cannes Film Festival in France. She looked sophisticated in this strapless black gown with pearl embellished bodice. 

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in Armani Privé : amfAR’s 21st Cinema Against AIDS Gala: Cannes 2014 : Red Carpet

For the annual amfAR’s 21^st Cinema Against AIDS Gala, hostess of the event, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan wore a gorgeous Armani Privé gown at the 67^th Annual Cannes Film Festival. The crystal beaded gown with a sheer yoke and layered cut looked delicately elegant and exquisitely uber-feminine. I love the freshness of the look, something very subtle and stunning.

She completed the look with Choprad Jewels and red lips that complemented the colour of the gown. But, her green eye shadow is a minor distraction in this otherwise perfect look. Do we ignore that? What say folks?

Perfection!!! Rosie Huntington-Whiteley was stunning in a strapless Gucci Première gown at the premiere of ‘The Search’ during the 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival. The gown with a hint of art Deco inspired embellishment on the bodice and a gorgeous train fitted on the model like a dream. She looked fabulous. 

Day 8: Sharon Stone in Emilio Pucci :Cannes 2014 :Red Carpet

This is what happens when your basic instinct goes awry. Ms. Stone should be fined for wearing this. Isn’t this an insult to the red carpet?  Or is she trying to be a red carpet rebel? Sharon Stone wore a shirt-dress from Emilio Pucci at the premiere of ‘The Search’ during the 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival. The sequined black dress with low neck and string looked ridiculously “TACKY’ and just not apt for such an event. And what’s with those sunglasses? This gives me an impression that Sharon is trying really hard to defy her age, unfortunatley it has fallen flat on her face. Horrendous!!!

Irina Shayk wore an Atelier Versace gown at the premiere of ‘The Search’ during the 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival.I feel there was too much of drama going on with this look, the colour the hoodie and the corset. What do you have to say folks?

Day 8 : Lara Stone in a custom Calvin Klein dress: Cannes 2014:Red Carpet

Lara Stone wore a custom Calvin Klein dress at the premiere of ‘The Search’ during the 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival. After all the blacks and the whites, the fuchsia dress with an asymmetric strap added the required colour to the red carpet. The colour of the gown complemented Lara’s skin tone, she looked beautiful.

Day 8 : Araya A. Hargate in Kaufmanfranco :Cannes 2014 : Red Carpet

Araya A. Hargate wore a Kaufmanfranco Fall 2014 gown at the premiere of ‘The Search’ during the 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival. The subtle shimmer of the sequined black strapless gown looked great on Araya. However, I feel the gown is a little bit long for her frame. Nonetheless, she looked beautiful.

Day: 8:Marion Cotillard in Christian Dior :Cannes 2014 : Red Carpet

Unflattering!!! Marion Cotillard wore a strapless Christian Dior dress at the premiere of ‘L’Homme Qu’On Aimait Trop’ during the 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival. The pleated dress looks overwhelming on Marion’s frame. And the colour of the dress also does not complement her skin tone.

Day 8: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in Roberto Cavalli : Cannes 2014: Red Carpet

For her second sighting, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan again wore a Roberto Cavalli gown at the premiere of ‘The Search’ at the 67^th Cannes Film Festival. Though the embellished white gown is less grand compared to yesterday’s gold one, but with a similar silhouette (fish tail), she still looks supremely elegant and graceful. No doubts, she owns the Cannes Red Carpet. Today’s look has an element of understated elegance to it, and she looked glamorous. Boy, I just love her Red Carpet confidence and body language. And yes, she is back, her curves are back.

Day 7 : Petra Nemcova in Zuhair Murad Couture : Cannes 2014 :Red Carpet

Petra Nemcova wore a gorgeous Zuhair Murad spring 2014 Couture gown at the premiere of ‘Two Days, One Night’ at the 67^th Annual Cannes Film Festival. The strapless black silk tulle gown with a sweetheart neckline featured a fitted beaded bodice and a voluminous floor sweeping skirt. She looked classic and beautiful.

Day 7: Marion Cotillard in Christian Dior Couture:Cannes 2014:Red Carpet

Oh boy, this is horrendous!!!  Disaster!!! Marion Cotillard wore a Christian Dior’s Spring 2014 Couture dress at the premiere of ‘Two Days, One Night’ at the 67^th Annual Cannes Film Festival. Is that some kind of creepy bug or a bumble bee on the red carpet? A school costume drama? And what’s with those ugly pair of shoes? Sack the stylist. Hideous!!! An insult to glamour of Cannes Red Carpet.

Day 7 : Sophia Loren in Giorgio Armani :Cannes 2014 :Red Carpet

Sophia Loren wore an age appropriate Giorgio Armani number at the premiere of ‘Voce Umana’ at the 67^th Annual Cannes Film Festival. For her age the nude dress with beaded details is a smart choice. But, what’s with her make-up artists? What have they made out of this beautiful, gorgeous woman? They almost ruined her face. They should be sued.  But as always, Sophia is graceful.

Day 7 : Eva Herzigova in Dolce & Gabbana dress :Cannes 2014: Red Carpet

Eva Herzigova wore a strapless Dolce & Gabbana dress at the premiere of ‘Two Days, One Night’ at the 67^th Annual Cannes Film Festival. She looked pretty in this floral embroidered dress. I feel the dress is more appropriate for a photo-call and not for an actual red carpet event.

Day 7: Christina Hendricks in Alberta Ferretti :Cannes 2014: Red Carpet

Christina Hendricks wore an Alberta Ferretti black chiffon gown at the premiere of ‘Lost River’ at the 67^th Annual Cannes Film Festival. The gown featured black embellishments on the bodice and flare sleeve. She looked just okay, nothing memorable. The gown makes the Red Carpet boring.

Day 7 : Arlenis Sosa in Julien Macdonald : Cannes 2014 : Red Carpet

Arlenis Sosa wore a dazzling Julien Macdonald Fall 2014 number at the premiere of ‘Two Days, One Night’ at the 67^th Annual Cannes Film Festival. The one shoulder dress featured gold sequins with generous cuts and slits. She looked gorgeous in gold. But, the look was spoilt by the back of the gown. The illusion panel at the back was ill tailored with visible seams. And yes, the panel didn’t complement her skin tone too. So this is again a complete downer.

Day 7: Amber Heard in Vionnet :Cannes 2014 :Red Carpet

Boring!!! Amber Heard wore a look from Vionnet at the premiere of ‘Two Days, One Night’ at the 67^th Annual Cannes Film Festival. The look comprised of a white bodysuit shirt and a gold maxi skirt. I wonder how she could even think of wearing such a forgettable look for an ultra glamorous event like the Cannes Film Festival. Is this understated elegance? No!!! What say folks?

Day 7 : Alessandra Ambrosio in an Atelier Versace gown: Cannes 2014: Red Carpet

Awful!!! Alessandra Ambrosio wore an Atelier Versace gown at the premiere of ‘Two Days, One Night’ at the 67^th Annual Cannes Film Festival. The sheer one sleeved Swarovski beaded gown featured a draped back and fringe detailing. I found the look quite tacky, just not apt for Cannes Red Carpet. 

Day 7 : Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in Roberto Cavalli:Cannes 2014 :Red Carpet

And, there she is. Dazzling!!! Ultra Glam!!! Aishwarya Rai Bachchan wore a stunning shoulder less Robert Cavalli gown at the Premiere of ‘Two Days, One Night’ at the 67^th Annual Cannes Film Festival. She looked every bit of a diva in this gold-embellished, fish tail gown. Hair and makeup, all perfect. Her red lip exuded elegant sensuality and perfectly complemented the glamorous essence of the gown. I simply love the fact how effortlessly she is working it, combined with her prefect poise and seductive elegance. The diva was in her sultry best in this beautiful number. And yes, this one of her best looks in a long while. What say folks?

Sonam Kapoor in an Elie Saab Couture :Chopard Dinner: Cannes 2014:Red Carpet

For her last appearance at the 67^th Annual Cannes Film Festival, while attending the gala dinner hosted by Chopard, Sonam Kapoor wore a dreamy powder blue Elie Saab couture gown. The colour of the gown is simply divine and looked fresh and gorgeous on Ms. Kapoor. The gown featured a contrast of structured bodice and flowy silhouette. With a slick pony tail, she accented the gown with a stunning Chopard necklace.  She looked absolutely graceful.

Day 6: Sonam Kapoor in Anamika Khanna : Flawless :Cannes 2014 :Red Carpet

Flawless!!! Perfection!!! There you go. As anticipated, Sonam brought in an Indian Element on the Cannes Red Carpet in an Anamika Khanna sari at the premiere of ‘Foxcatcher’ at the 67^th Cannes Film Festival. The contemporary sheer sari featured delicately intricate gold embroidery and a cape. She accented the look with a Sunita Kapoor choker.

Day 5: Hilary Swank in an Atelier Versace gown:Cannes 2014 : Red Carpet

Beautiful!!! Hilary Swank wore a gorgeous Atelier Versace gown at at the premiere of ‘The Homesman’ at the 67^th Cannes Film Festival. I love the drama created by intersecting pleats of the bodice and the draped back of the gown. On a different note, I feel she could have opted for a different earring. Nonetheless, she looked statuesque in this gorgeous creation.

Day 5 : Adriana Lima in an Alexandre Vauthier dress : Cannes 2014 : Red Carpet

Misfit!!! Adriana Lima wore an Alexandre Vauthier Couture dress at the premiere of ‘The Homesman’ at the 67^th Cannes Film Festival. The strapless bustier number is a complete misfit for the glamour and drama the Cannes Red Carpet demands.

Day 5 : Suki Waterhouse in Dior : Cannes 2014 : Red Carpet

Boring and untidy!!! Suki Waterhouse wore a tiered strapless Christian Dior gown at the premiere of ‘The Homesman’ at the 67^th Cannes Film Festival. I don’t think she did justice to the gown. Even the colour of the gown does not complement her skin tone. Something just so untidy about the entire look. Thumbs down!!!

Aishwarya Rai and Freida Pinto at the L’Oreal Paris Shoot: Cannes 2014

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Freida Pinto came together for an exclusive all white L’Oreal Paris photo shoot in Cannes. They were joined by Eva Longoria and Natasha Polly, the other two ambassadors of the cosmetic giant. This is the first time Aish and Freida were captured in the same frame.

For the shoot Aishwarya donned a soft androgynous look in a white pant suit, while Freida wore a one shoulder high slit white gown. The girls looked great together.
