Milan Men's Fashion Week - Bottega Veneta Spring 2013

With its easy going and relaxed silhouette, Bottega Veneta’s Spring 2013 line up was a celebration of spirit of freedom. The key pieces of the collection by Tomas Maier were the loose pullover tunic tops something that also resembled the ethnic Indian Kurta, single and double breasted jackets, slim fitting suits with faded floral prints which looked like stains, tunic with lace up details at the neck and fringes at the bottom & knitwear.

Floral prints found it place in jackets, trousers, shirts and knitwear which in a way or other breaks all the fashion barriers and send across a message that a modern man is least bothered about the feminine and masculine fashion debate. Fabrics like suede, organza, and chiffons in a colour palette of faded teal, red, taupe & gray added an element of fluidity to the collection, thus taking us to back to the colony of the hippies in 70’s California.

Relaxed elegance at its best.
