The Hyderabad based designer’s S/R 16 collection draws its inspiration from the opulence of Mughal dynasty and its history. The fabrics used are silks, mulmul, and fine cottons handcrafted into elaborate silhouettes.
The colour story ranges from soft pastels of ivory, sunset yellow and the colours of the ocean going into deeper regal tones of red and gold. Additionally, the use of soft tones aims to create a romantic and feminine vibe reminiscent of neoclassical ambiance.
Describing her latest offering Anushree Reddy says, “Each design in my collection harks back to the Mughal Era. The soft tones and fabric used are extremely feminine. Every piece in this collection suits a summer wedding perfectly. It lends an elegant yet feminine appeal to a bride.”
With elaborate techniques, and decadent drapes the collection captures the raw sensuality of the bygone era.
Anushree Reddy will be showcasing her collection on April, 1st at 0130PM
