Here are the first photos of much awaited Melissa shoes by Karl Lagerfeld . Last year the Brazilian plastic shoe brand Melissa, known for colorful plastic jelly shoes, had announced collaboration with Karl Lagerfeld to design capsule collections for the next four seasons. The first range (see the photos) consists of four signature signature autumn/winter 2013-14 styles - Melissa Incense, Melissa Glam , Melissa Ginga  and Melissa Elegance- which perfectly captures the essence of Brazilian fun and Karl’s unconventional fashion vision. 

Tilda Swinton, new face of Chanel

Known for her androgynous style and avant-garde fashion sensibilities, Tilda Swinton, the 52-year old Academy Award winning actress has been chosen by Karl Lagerfeld as the face of Chanel's pre-fall Paris-Edimbourg collection, which was showcased at Linlithgow Palace last December. The collection was inspired by Mary Queen of Scots and featured knits, plaids, tartans, kilts, argyle and above all rich Scottish heritage.

“VUNK”, yes this is the name Donatella chose for her Fall 2013 offering, which was nothing but a fusion of p(unk) and” V” of Versace. Dresses held together with steel nails instantly took us back to the house’s iconic safety pin dress which was worn by Liz Hurley to the premiere of 'Four Weddings and a Funeral' in 1994.

Just Cavalli Fall 2013 " Bhutan in Italy"

The collection was an exotic journey to Bhutan, “Land of The Thunder Dragon”. Roberto and Eva  Cavalli, inspired from a visit to Bhutan last year, immaculately captured the essence of  the Himalayan kingdom in this offering for Fall/Winter 2013. They infused ethnic & spiritual Bhutanese motifs into their collection, in the form of prints and patterns, thus giving a refreshing and spectacular twist.
