The collection with a
ladylike flair was a potpourri of colours & had a very relaxed & ultra
feminine feel to it, something that is just perfect for a classic cruise
holiday . The structuring and detailing of the collection was completely
fashion forward & modern. For instance, Gingham prints, which are considered
to be dull compared to other prints, got a complete makeover in this
collection. Oversized gingham patterns were embroidered on tulle, silk ,organza
and satin in contrasting colours, which was definitely a
refreshing change and also added the element of style and elegance.
Be it a bright peplum
shirt/top, gowns with peplum details or for that matter a peplum jacket worn
with a pencil skirt, the designer used peplum structure to a large extent in
the collection. The strapless evergreen gown with a peplum detail is definitely
made for a Red Carpet moment. Other key pieces of the vibrant & structured
collection were pencil skirts, short suit, high waisted pants, frothy cocktail
dresses, full skirt, column dresses and boxy jackets. Colours like black, white,
cobalt blue, greens, reds, purples, vermilion with a dash of shimmering golds,
made the collection vibrant and classic. Asymmetrical halter neckline,
blown up photo prints on tunics, corseted top , embellishment &
embroideries on dresses completed the dreamy collection.
