Bad news for Kim Kardashian: Selfies are banned at MET Gala 2015

It seems, Anna Wintour, Vogue, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art have made the red carpet venue a selfie free zone, which means Kim and other celeb girls will not be able to click or post selfies on their social media accounts.

As per reports, all the guests have received a notice stating, "The use of phones for photography and social media will not be permitted inside the gala." Though the reason behind the ban is not yet clear, however, as per sources, “It has solely to do with guests’ security and enjoyment of the event.”

It is learnt that Vogue is filming a documentary on this year’s Met Gala, called “China: Through the Looking Glass,” about the making of the Chinese fashion-themed exhibit at the Costume Institute and the A-list gala. There are speculations that the ban was to make the documentary more exclusive, or to give Vogue editorial control of photos.

The selfie queen, Kim Kardashian is definitely going to be one unhappy girl this year at the MET Gala.
