Namrata Joshipura’s Spring Summer 2014 collection at the WIFW,New Delhi was
inspired from snow, clouds, glaciers and icicles. Metallic embroideries,
embellishment and textured landscape prints with a colour story of ice-blue,
grey, sunset gold, snowy white and dust instantly awakens ‘The Wanderer’ in
you.
The sporty and the easy
vibe of the collection were offered in the form of jumpsuits, skirts, track
pants, boxy top, shirt-dress and metallic cocktail dress. Georgette, silk,
sheer and nylon played in tandem with the exquisite beauty of metallic weave
like the ones used for chairs.
This is one collection
that definitely stands out because of its interesting prints, patterns, daring
cuts, fabric treatment and constructions with an element of raw sensuality.
