Inspired
by men in Favelas, and shot by Mert & Marcus, Riccardo Tisci released the
lookbook of Givenchy Pre-Spring 2014 menswear collection. Starring male
model Diego Fragoso and Simone Noboili, the collection mirrors Fall Winter 2013
womenswear collection, featuring camouflage motifs, florals , flames
and oh yes, even Bambi.
“Men in favelas are more natural and more confident about their sexuality,” Ricardo explains. “They are not scared to mix and match clothing. They represent sensuality, street, and elegance—what I recognize as elegance. I love the fact that they play with opposite things like flowers (which represent peace and serenity) and camouflage (which represents the army), but all interpreted in a very colorful and positive way.”

Bermudas, parkas, button up shirts, kilts,
t-shirts, sweatshirts in vivid combination of prints , camouflage, stripes and
colour blocking, along with refined tailoring, redefines the concept of male
