14 Best Dressed - Oscars 2014

Pale hues, classic blues and black, and white created the color story on the Oscars Red Carpet this year. Jewel tones, shimmer and varied textures combined with diamonds and crystals oozed movie star glamour at the 86th Academy Awards night, held on March 2, 2014, at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.
Stylefluid Trendz picks some of the best Red Carpet moments from the Award night. Check out the looks below and do share in your comments.
Easily one of the best dressed of the night; Kate Hudson was an epitome of old Hollywood glamour in this metallic caped Atelier Versace gown.
Current red carpet darling, Lupita Nyong’o wore a pleated custom made Prada gown. The powder blue gown looked great against her skin tone. She looked ultra feminine in this delicate flowy gown. And, yes that plunging neckline added an interesting character to her over all look.

And, this is how you look sensually sophisticated. Portia de Rossi in a stunning laser cut gown by Naeem Khan.

Amy Adams, in a blue Gucci Première tuxedo-inspired gown. She was simply gorgeous in this classic yet contemporary gown.

Charlize Theron created some drama in this black tiered hem Christian Dior Couture gown. However, on a closer look the illusion straps can be a bit of a downer.

Chrissy Teigen blossomed in this voluminous Monique Lhullier Fall 2014 floral gown.
Sandra Bullock wore a navy Alexander McQueen gown. The gown beautifully flattered her statuesque frame.

Anne Hathaway looked beautiful in this Gucci gown. The crystal embroidered bust of the gown adds an interesting element to her minimalist look. However, i feel she should start experimenting with silhouette now.

Jenna Dewan-Tatum looked elegant in a textured Reem Acra gown.

Here is another textured gown. Kristen Bell opted for a strapless Roberto Cavalli gown.

Maria Menounos looked gorgeous and classic chic in this perfectly fitted Johanna Johnson white beaded gown.

Naomi Watts dazzled in a Calvin Klein beaded gown.

Cate Blanchett looked beautiful in a classic Armani Prive embroidered gown. Again, this look has a strong old Hollywood feel but with a modern twist.
