‘Aftermath’, Sidharta Aryan presented an androgynously edgy collection inspired
from ‘Geode’ inspired geometry. Clean lines merged with geometry of the digital
prints to create a structured, sporty, futuristic and wearable line ranging
from varsity jackets, asymmetrical skirts to shirts and even sari.

collection by the talented designer duo Pranav Mishra and Shyma Shetty was a
tribute to today’s sophisticated single woman. It was an interesting take on
the very idea of androgynous styling which effortlessly morphed into an
ambiguous contrast within texture, craftsmanship and the colour story.

Krishna Mehta paid rich tribute to the craftsmanship
of an often neglected and isolated region of India, i.e., Manipur with her
Autumn Winter 2013-14 collection at the Lakme Fashion Week. Manipur, which has 4.62 lakh handloom
workers, second among the top states in the country, has almost 100 percent
women weavers.

‘London Eye’ By Troy Costa: Autumn Winter 2013-14, Lakme Fashion Week
Titled ‘London Eye’, Troy Costa revived
the intriguing charm and style of 1930’s gentleman with a collection that is
all about impeccable tailoring, traditional British finesse, contemporary cuts
and luxury. Classic yet modern, the first half of the collection was inspired
by the work of British artist Mark Gertler’s painting ‘Merry Go Round’, referring
to the colour story, while the other end of the collection draws influences
from the league of gentlemen of the 30’s & 40’s.
